New workshops and courses available at Second Step’s Recovery College

Recovery College staffSecond Step's Recovery College has released its April-May programme of wellbeing-themed workshops and courses.

They are all free and open to people who are accessing Bristol Mental Health's services or who are carers. Workshops and courses cover a variety of topics, including 'confidence building', 'food & mood' and 'managing depression'. A variety of convenient locations across the city are used for the sessions, which are delivered by skilled tutors.

Second Step also runs a drop-in Recovery Café, from 2pm-4pm every Tuesday in the downstairs café area of The Station on Silver Street. This has been set up so that people can find out more about what the college has to offer and take part in example exercises from the courses.

On Tuesday 25 April, from 1pm-4.30pm, Second Step will be running a Wellbeing Event at The Station, alongside the Recovery Café. There will be art sessions, head massages, raffles and more!

Please go to Second Step's website to book a place on a course or workshop. For any queries, please call 0117 914 5498 or email recovery.college@second-step.co.uk.
