Healthy City Week: Wellies for Wellbeing

Wellies for WellbeingBMH is holding a Wellies for Wellbeing event as part of Healthy City Week and everyone's invited!

Get your wellies on and join us as we journey through Blaise Castle Estate's glorious green spaces. Breathe in the fresh air and marvel at the scenery while we explore the link between nature and wellbeing and share tips for positive mental health. The walk will be led by mental health professionals working within BMH. En route you can try your hand at seed bombing and enjoy some well-earned refreshments* when we finish at a café. There'll be a competition for the jazziest pair of wellies too!

The event is being held on Friday 21 October, 2pm-4pm. Tickets are free but booking is essential. Tickets can be booked here.

Healthy City Week is an eight-day programme of activities that aims to inspire the citizens of Bristol to achieve healthier lifestyles as part of a more sustainable future city. Launched last year as a brand new initiative from Bristol Green Capital Partnership CIC, Healthy City Week is the product of contributions from local organisations and individuals whose free or low cost events, talks and workshops will explore the links between sustainable living, personal wellbeing and the health of our environment. The full programme for Healthy City Week can be found here.

*Please bring money for refreshments at the café.
