St Mungo’s call for more night shelter volunteers
It's Volunteers' Week (1 - 12
June) and St Mungo's are calling on individuals who are considering
giving their free time to help others to get in contact.
They are looking for volunteers to help run their much needed

St Mungo's has opened 48 bed spaces since Christmas:
• 1 assessment night centre (20 bed spaces)
• 1 night shelter for people waiting for supported housing (15 bed
• 3 property guardianship projects (13 bed spaces)

our outreach workers can focus on their job and engage with
clients. I am proud when I see volunteers develop, reach their
goals and become amazing support workers.
"We need more volunteers to keep this service running, we offer
full training and support. It's a great way for people to learn new
skills particularly if you are looking to gain employment as a
