Joining the Dots holds System Wide Event

Joining the Dots imageThe Joining the Dots Project team recently held a System Wide Event to update key stakeholders from Bristol Mental Health (BMH) about progress and developments made in recent months.

Attendees met at Bristol's Watershed on 5 July, where they also had the opportunity to make suggestions and ask questions about Joining the Dots - a collaboration between BMH, service users accessing BMH services, and Otsuka Health Solutions that aims to support the delivery of recovery focused care within services across Bristol.

The event began with summaries of the project and outlines of the sessions to come. Participants then found out more about three key elements of the project: using information to improve service user care; using technology to enhance recovery orientated care; and coproduction in design and delivery of a digital health solution.

Attendees also had the opportunity to experience the tools Joining the Dots uses, to gain a better understanding of how they're utilised. The day closed with a lively Q&A session with a panel involved with the project.

Peter Hale, a service user and member of the panel, says: "I found this to be a successful and enjoyable event. Service users with lived experience of mental health issues had roles in co-producing the event, which was very appropriate because we have been co-producing the Joining the Dots tools."
