CASS supports Depression Awareness Week 18 - 24 April 2016

18th - 24th April 2016 marks Depression Awareness Week. Run by Depression Alliance, the campaign week is aimed at raising awareness of this invisible and still largely misunderstood illness.
One in five people is affected by depression in the UK and numbers are currently rising. It's therefore really important that friends, family members and colleagues have a good understanding of how the illness impacts people and what they can do to help.

How can I get involved?
Depression Alliance has put together some great resources on their website for anyone wanting to promote Depression Awareness Week through conversations, social media or hosting an event.

If you're interested in getting involved in Bristol, don't forget to let us know! We can help you publicise your event and provide you with further information.

The Community Access Support Service visits community groups throughout Bristol, providing information and guidance on all things mental health. Contact us on info@cassbristol.org or phone 0117 304 1400 and ask to speak to the CASS team.
