Callington Talks talk show for World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day 2015 is on Saturday 10th October and to mark it, Bristol's Callington Road hospital is inviting people to come and be part of "Talkaoke: Callington Talks" - a live, interactive talk show all about mental health.

The theme of this year's World Mental Health Day is dignity, and to help support people with mental health problems to live with dignity, talking openly about mental health is vital.

From midday on Friday 9th October, pop-up talk show hosts from Talkaoke will take over the main entrance of Bristol's biggest psychiatric hospital at Callington Road to create the scene for the show.

A mobile talk show set - complete with a chat show host, a round table for discussion, and a giant screen showing the action as it happens - will provide a spontaneous and informal setting for staff, service users, carers and the public to get talking about mental health.

Anyone is welcome to participate or watch from the audience, refreshments will be available. Come to Callington Road Hospital, Marmalade Lane, Brislington, Bristol BS4 5BJ and see what everyone is saying about mental health.
