Second Step are going on the Dr Phil Hammond show at 10.50 to talk about the importance of peer support in mental health recovery.

On Saturday October 10th, Second Step will be live on BBC Radio Bristol's morning show to talk about the vital role that peer support plays in supporting people with mental ill health.

Second Step has employed peers for more than five years and leads the way that peer workers support people using the services of Bristol Mental Health. Feedback from individual service users is positive and they welcome support from people who have had experience themselves, say Second Step.

Tune in to BBC Radio Bristol at 94.9/104.6 FM from 10.50am to hear more. Dr Phil Hammond is away, so the show will be presented by breakfast presented Laura Rawlings.
